What’s the difference between Apple juice, apple cider and apple nectar?

I have a recipe that calls for cider. I have apple juice and nectar, while I am not one of them weten.Bedankt the difference between your hulp.Dit is an American recipe that I use.

    Is it an American recipe or other English-speaking countries? If the U.S. is, cider more opaque, less sweet, sour and more from different apples. If from another country cider is an alcoholic beverage.
