This is a prototype, it won’t suck this much upon release…if it does, lenovo fucked up.
This is a cool device but at a thousand bucks you can do so much better…you can get both a tablet (Slate or ipad or anything) AND a netbook like the NC10. It is just kinda useless imo if you can get a great netbook AND a tablet for the price of one of these. Its a cool concept though.
why not just get a macbook.. it does way more. or wait for iphone 4g. my first laptop was a powerbook g4 fully loaded and i loved it. if i had some extra money i would buy an ipad just to sit with it on my sofa
sorry to say the ipad is just an overgrown ipod touch. the only thing you can’t do on the ipod touch that you on the ipad is the books app. and now you can’t put it in your pocket. it’s a cool looking device but nothing really new. just a bigger ipod touch.
many iphone killers out there like htc hd2 the droid and myself got the Nokia N900.. i see iphones everywhere. i don’t want to blend in with mainstream robots.. the iphone is great but sorry..

Hold on.. I saw another video where it doesn’t come apart but it swivles. I think I’de rather have that one. It’s a laptop in which the screen swivles and fold in half and becomes a touchpad tablet. And they said it came out in Jan 2010 and it’s only 500 bucks with 2 gigs of ram (you can pay more to upgrade). I don’t want to be farting around with pull this thing out of its shell everytime I want to use it as a tablet. Also, I know it’s dated but I would like a pen with it.
Since Windows can run on more than a single line of hardware, like Apple’s computers, which is why most people won’t buy them, on top of price, they can’t have SLI, etc. set-up’s, etc.
Well, is Linux used as much as Windows, if Microsoft were to tailer the OS to every computer Windows can run on, they would be wasting time, when a retail copy will run on all systems, if they are new enough, heck, even if they aren’t Windows will still run, I was running Vista in VMware player, on 2 of 4 cores, and 1GB of RAM, and it was mighty fast.
When tablets came out, XP was adapted to them, the OS itself is adapted, it’s just not as adapted as let’s say Apple, for obvious reasons.
Not to mention, there’s so much more with everything that Apple puts into consideration of their products, specifically with recyclability, their products are 100% recyclable and high quality, designed to last u for years, whereas pc’s and the like are designed to be replaced easily. It’s not just a banana vs. an apple, it’s more than that and u have to appreciate the beauty of how simple, yet complicated it is.
