@linuxrobotdude I thought it was the other way around, I thought that Apple was rejecting Adobe.
@adgp Because Adobe won’t let Apple buy a license. Thats why. Also you can see that Google has a work around for it since you can still watch Youtube. Also as far as netbooks go, the original idea was a cheap laptop, and personally I like them. The iPad can’t run Linux stock, so I can’t do all of my development for my embedded applications on it. Netbooks are also nice because their batteries last forever. I use one in my robot because it lasts 13 hours.

@roar907 Why is everyone saying it’s just a bigger ipod touch or iphone? This thing is so much more powerful than those devices. Also, this is the beginning of the end of paper. No more chopping down trees so we can carry around loads of spiral notebooks and binders and the what not. This will be all we need.

It’s suppose to revulate something but it really doesn’t… the if your eyes are okay an iphone is enough for everything he showed… the only thing it does better than an iphone is the typing… but if i’d sit and type on that on the bus och a subway… i would feel really smug because its just so unnecessary

I’m glad other web browsers are out for iPad that are supporting tabbed browsing. Being stuck at one page at a time was just pathetic.
$600 electronic map browser? Nah. A smartphone like iPhone would be good enough for me here for up-to-date maps. Then I’d rather bring out a $20 streets mapbook than my $600 iPad. Especially on a busy sidewalk.
The iPad doesn’t support Flash.

Dont be jealous cus u cant afford one, if you cant afford it then stop nagging on the internet about how broke u are. I have an ipod touch too, yes there is a difference and u can start with the experience.
I haven’t been off mine since I got mine. I have the 64g but I have great apps that “remote in” and “stream” content from my pc, so u don’t need to buy the 64gig.
If that hurts your pocket then go get a laptop, sit on a bed post, and stfu.
this is so pointless. get a freakin’ laptop. you’d be better off. this would break at any minute. sure it’s a good idea, but it is just way too big. oh, and if it’s like your ipod touch, it wouldn’t always be connected to the interenet, unless by a wireless. so inother words, you’d be better off with a laptop, or an iphone, at least with the iphone you can go on the internet as much as you want .. oh ! and you can text. this is pointless. thats my rant. kaythanks.
