what i mean is to sit it and watch a dvd at a meeting or dinner..
you dont have to have the media stand to watch movies / videos on the Droid.
what i dont like about the droid is the sit and watch dvd feature – u have to buy the media stand for 30 bucks. with the back flip u just flip it… for um free.. =/
my e button works fine…as does everyone else’s. i have NO idea where you heard that from.
the battery door issue with the Droid was resolved within a shipment or two. most people never had an issue with it.
Battery life will last you a solid 10-12 hour work day. Again, it varies on use. PDA / Smartphones are expected to only last a day at best. Expect to chare it nightly.

I was like droid… or the backflip… well come to find out the motorola backflip will be with at&crap so I guess I will be getting the droid. Hope it doesn’t suck. read some reviews online and it has a sucky battery and the E button doesnt work.. the back that holds the battery falls off alot.. so who knows…
UStream has a Broadcaster application, that allows you to do just that good sir.
I’ll be getting the Droid probably next week. It came down to the AT&T’s iPhone or the V’s Droid. Both phones seem to be pretty awesome. But then I had to find out what the deposit would be for somebody with no credit history. AT&T told me 500.00. Verizon told me 125.00. That pretty much settled it lol. I’ll be leaving AT&T for the V. Can’t wait to get my hands on that Droid! BTW, is there a live streaming app? Like an app that allows the person to stream a live video to the internet? Just askin
the G1 had this update like a year ago….it’s old…Android is coming out with a new OS in March ;-D …had to left my G1 for the Motorola Cliq

How do you get this?
you have to go into the individual program and set the notification color. the Default messaging app doesn’t allow this, so I would suggest downloading Handcent SMS. It’s a nicer, more feature rich messaging app, that does allow you to change the LED color in the settings menu.
thanks for all your help man but I downloaded an app thats called led scroller and I set the color to red but when I get text and alerts etc. the flashing color is still green like it is usually (i wanna change it to blink all colors if possible or red)
Motorola had said this week. But it might be getting puashed back. Doing a hard reset will wipe your phone down to stock os and factory settings
Color led: I use an app called handcent sms for my text messaging. In the settings u can change the led flash color.
News widget: yeah I added the wrestling channel. Under settings hit add channel and u can add custom channels.
And I notice the light on your droid at the top(the one that blinks like if you get a text message or alert) is blue…mine is green how come?? And can I change mine to a different color? And with the news gene widget you explained I noticed there was a category for wrestling …did you make that like a shortcut or something or does that widget have like categories? please respond thanks
Hey do you know the release date for 2.1? and also when it comes out can I still switch beteen the old one and 2.1 or when I download 2.1 theres no going back?
In beautiful widgets? Yes. They’re smoother and it doesn’t bog yor phone down like some skins do.
Nice video! I also have a question. Are the weather animations that much different on the “update” I am one of the last hold outs on the old HTC clock and skin. Thank you in advance.
Like the poster below you write the moto droid is better in almost every way. It also runs a newer version of Android.

yes boss. you will be able to upgrade to 2.1 when it is officially released. Odds are you will get a little pop up that says THERE IS A NEW SOFTWARE PATCH AVAILABLE. DO YOU WISH TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL?
